Our Founder
Bondurant Investment Advisory ("BIA") was founded by Scott Bondurant, a former Managing Director & Global Head of Long/Short Strategies at UBS Global Asset Management, where he was responsible for leading the development, implementation, and marketing of the $2.5 billion equity long/short platform from 2005-2014. Over the last seven years, Scott has been an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University teaching "The History of Investing," worked as a Principal at Unearthed Land Technologies – a digital real estate records start-up, and served as President of the American Platform Tennis Association.
Over the years Scott observed that most high net worth individuals (including his former self) have not prepared a comprehensive financial plan to meet their future needs and goals. Over the course of his career, he realized that behavioral biases steered both institutional and individual investor portfolios towards a focus on the short term, at the expense of maximizing long term returns. Bondurant Investment Advisory was founded with the purpose of helping clients develop robust financial plans incorporating our proprietary investment approach to meet their lifetime goals.

Founder and CEO
Scott Bondurant is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Bondurant Investment Advisory, LLC. Scott previously was a Managing Director & Global Head of Long/Short Strategies at UBS Global Asset Management from 2005-2014. He was responsible for leading the development, implementation and marketing of the UBS Global Asset Management's $2.5 billion equity long/short platform. In addition, he has authored a series of white papers addressing topical issues related to long/short strategies. Scott was also a member of the Equity Management Team, Equity Investment Committee and Equity Business Committee at UBS.
Scott is currently an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University and has tought the "The History of Investing” course for 7 years. The Northwestern Business Review named this course as "one of the five coolest business related classes.” He is also the Faculty Sponsor of the Northwestern “Investment Management Club,” which received the Wildcat Excellence Award as the 2018 outstanding new student organization.
Scott serves as the Principal of Unearthed Land Technologies; the leader in the retrieval and specialized use of government property and infrastructure data. Scott served as the President of the American Platform Tennis Association from 2015-2019. Scott is also Co-Chair of the Kenilworth Union Church Investment Committee.

Justin graduated from the University of Iowa with a Major in Finance and a Minor in Economics.
From portfolio management to client service, Justin assists Scott in helping clients reach their goals while focusing on superior service. He also works with clients to ensure all requests are properly executed and strives to improve the client experience. Justin also serves as Bondurant Investment Advisory's Chief Compliance Officer.
